EU projects

ENCATC currently participates – as leader or partner - in three EU projects under the European Commission’s LifeLong Learning programme, running from October 2008 to October 2010:

Artists moving and learning - Analysing artistic mobility in Europe from an educational and Life Long Learning perspective

Digital Extra – Stimulating competence to produce digital exhibitions

Museums’ Literacy (MusLi) – Encouraging cultural literacy through museum activities

UPCOMING EVENT - Digital Extra's Final Conference

Digital Extra's final conference, Online Exhibitions: Low cost, Big results will take place in Brussels on the 16th and 17th of September 2010.  Organised by ENCATC, this major international event will offer participants the opportunity to learn more about the project’s findings and to network with other professionals in the cultural and ICT/media sectors.

The conference will be held at the Royal Library of Belgium, an ideal location at the heart of Brussels, situated only a few minutes away from many of the city’s major museums and historical centre.

Active participation will be encouraged throughout the conference.  On the second day, project partners will invite the participants to join two free interactive workshops where they will not only learn more about creating online exhibitions but will also be able to put these newly-acquainted skills into practice by producing a new digital exhibition.
