What did we do in 2017?
ENCATC's Annual Report 2017 is now available, presenting our network's activities, facts and figures of the past year.
Over the course of 12 months, ENCATC was directly involved in the design and implementation of 24 events organised in 9 cities in 5 countries. 19 of these events were co-designed with ENCATC members.
Moreover, as result of its highly appreciated labelling policy, in 2017 ENCATC was involved in an additional 7 events organised by its members and held in 11 European cities in 7 countries All these events together resulted in combined attendance of more than 7,390 participants from 38 countries in 7 world regions.
In addition to these many events, international mobility of participants, our research activities, and awareness-raising, the network was actively transforming information into knowledge by publishing 1 issue of the ENCATC Journal on Cultural Management and Policy, 2 new publications in the ENCATC Book Series on Cultural Management and Cultural Policy Education, 2 e- bulletins of the /encatcSCHOLAR as well as newsletters, weekly flashes and an e-magazine for students enrolled in ENCATC member institutions.
All that we were able to achieve in 2017 year had even more significance as the network celebrated its 25th anniversary! 25 years on from the early days of its founding in Warsaw, Poland in 1992, ENCATC has grown and developed into a respected and recognized global leader in the cultural management and policy field.
2017 marked an important milestone that sparked deep reflection on what has been accomplished thus far and our next actions for a stronger and more sustainable cultural sector in Europe and beyond! We sincerely thank all of those that contributed to another successful year, who have been with us on this incredible 25-year journey, and for those who will be part of our future.
