2015 ENCATC Congress - The Ecology of Culture: Community Engagement, Co-creation, Cross Fertilization

For three days in beautiful Lecce, Italy ENCATC was joined by 185 participants from 30 countries for its 23rd Annual Conference “The Ecology of Culture: Community Engagement, Co-creation, Cross Fertilization”. Among the participants were leading academics and researchers, influential experts, experienced educators and trainers, cultural managers, policy makers, artists, and students.

The ENCATC Annual Conference is the leading international platform dedicated to innovation and creative action in education where renowned academics and researchers share insights with on-the-ground practitioners and collaborate together to rethink education. 

This three-day event offered a convivial environment to hear from experts, gain new knowledge, share experiences, enlarge  professional networks, and internationalise careers with other participants from coming over 25 countries in Europe and beyond. Attendees were given an opportunity to collaborate, share best practices, and challenge their thinking during interactive Plenary Sessions, and Debates. The seminars and study visits highlighted innovative practices and local unique projects. Moreover, this event in Lecce was a special opportunity for all the participants to find out more about the most cutting-edge practices in education, network with peers from around the globe, and to actively participate in building the future of education.
