Organised in partnership with the Association of Arts Administration Educators (AAAE), this 1-day event on 30 May 2019 in Madison, Wisconsin will bring together cultural management educators from Europe and North America to investigate opportunities and challenges to cooperate between these world regions.
The ENCATC-AAAE panel will tackle issues such as theory and philosophy of the educational programmes, objectives, methodologies, relationships with the sector and society, employability and others. Numerous informal networking opportunities will further enhance possibilities for exchange and collaboration.
This event is part of the AAAE Annual Conference gathering participants from America, Europe and Asia. The aim of the collaboration is to increase cooperation by comparing and contrasting cultural management programmes in Europe and North America and to reinforce cooperation among two major cultural management networks: ENCATC and the Association of Arts Administration Educators.
The panel will be organised in partnership wit the two networks having signed Memorandums of Understanding with ENCATC: the Association of Arts Administration Educators (AAAE) and the Taiwan Association of Cultural Policy studies (TACPS).
ENCATC is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
