Martin Chénot

Director of the French Institute in Casablanca

Martin Chénot directed Ensap (National School of Architecture and Landscape) of Bordeaux from 2012 to 2017. Architect DPLG, Martin Chénot is also an urban planner. He began his career as an architect in various agencies then moved to the areas of urban planning and development. In 2000, he became urban architect of the State.

After a year of training at the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes de Chaillot, he was appointed in 2001 to the Rhône-Alpes Region's Environment Department. From 2006 to 2012, he directed the Ensa (National School of Architecture) of Saint-Etienne. From September 2017, he is the Director of the French Institute in Casablanca. Martin Chénot is also  the author of the book "A day of walking on the Lauzes trail" (2001).
