Cultural Relations between EU and Latin America and the Caribbean

The 2020 ENCATC Academy will focus on the Cultural Relations between EU and Latin America and the Caribbean. The event will be organized alongside the Association of Arts Administration Educators' Conference to enhance exchange and networking between the Academy participants and those of AAAE.  

While more programme details will be published in 2020,  during the Academy our member, the University of Barcelona, will present and debate with an international audience the final results of the Horizon 2020 project EULAC Focus on the field of Cultural Relations between EU and Latin America and the Caribbean. ENCATC will also have a presentation of When Cultural Policies Change: Comparing Mexico and Argentina, published in the ENCATC Book Series on Cultural Management and Cultural Policy Education

BACKGROUND: 

The ENCATC Academy was first designed in 2012 to prepare academics, researchers, practitioners, policy makers, artists and students to deal with challenges in cultural relations and diplomacy.  It is meant to offer an intense learning experience with a mixed methodology including visits, lectures and seminars.
