2021 Young & Emerging Researchers' Forum

Online

On 18 October 2021, ENCATC held the Young and Emerging Researchers' Forum on the theme of “How to get a job after post-graduating?” and was organised as a side event to the 2021 ENCATC Digital Congress on Cultural Management and Policy (19-22 October).

What is YERF?

ENCATC’s Young and Emerging Researchers’ Forum (YERF) is the longest running and only global gathering of the cultural management and policy research community. The platform has been designed for the exchange of knowledge and the internationalisation of the research community, with a special focus on young and emerging research talents.

Target:

This event was open to researchers enrolled in a PhD programme or who finished it in the last five years. It welcomed people who:

  •  are transitioning from being a doctoral student to entering a career as a professor.
  • want to improve their research by getting personalized feedback from senior researchers other than their supervisor(s) or others in their departments.
