2022 Academy on sustainable cultural management and policy

Nathalie Ummels is head of Mondiaal Maastricht, a local NGO working on human rights and sustainable development and of Refugee Project Maastricht, a volunteer organization that runs various programs for and with students and refugees. She is also project leader of SDG House Maastricht, a new sustainable urban lab that aims to localize the SDG's in South-Limburg and part of a national network of SDG Houses.Our goal is to connect people, schools, local businesses and civil society organizations, to offer knowledge and skills, organize awareness raising events and to encourage everyone to take action for a sustainable future .In this way we translate global challenges to local solutions.  #actlocalthinkglobal

 Nathalie holds a Masters in Education Psychology from Maastricht University and has been trained as an Earth Charter Educator, Climate Reality Leader, Natural Step consultant and SDG Ambassador. She currently lives in Maastricht with her American husband and three children.
