Miriam Kičiňová

Dramaturge at the Slovak National Theatre, PhD student at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava

Miriam Kičiňová is an Assitant of dramaturgy in Slovak National Theatre (since 2011). Previously she worked at the Conservatory in Bratislava  from 2009 to 2011. From 2004 to 2009 she attended the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and from 2000 – 2004  she studied at the Conservatory in Košice, Department of Music and Dramatic Art.  

Her most artistic work (dramaturgy) includes among others: Elites, d. Jiří Havelka, (SND, Bratislava 2017); V. Schulczová a R. Olekšák: Natives, d. Tilmann Kohler, (SND, Bratislava 2017; A. Lindgrenová: Ronja, daughter of robber, d. Peter Palik, (ŠDKE, Košice 2017); J. Nvota: As Bonnie a Clyde, d. Jakub Nvota, (ŠDKE, Košice 2017); W. Shakespeare: Richard III., d. Martin Čičvák, (SND, Bratislava 2017); J. Pommerat: The Reunion of Two Koreas, d. Júlia Rázusová (ŠDKE, Košice 2018)

Her work on projects includes Project Is.theatre - monitoring of slovak theatres and Mobil Lab – mobil laboratory for young theatre critics from Europe.
