Dating back to the 15th century, the former Kruisheren monastery and adjoining Gothic church have been transformed into a spectacular design hotel, located in the heart of Maastricht’s historic centre. A member of Design Hotels and awarded the Dutch Hotel Award 2017, Kruisherenhotel Maastricht combines thought-provoking architecture with original features. This cultural place is offered to ENCATC CHH participants as best practice of how to re use religious building thus to preserve them for future generations and ensure the sustainability of our European cultural heritage.
