COSM Talks is series of online events organized by HUMAK with scientists, teachers and experts exploring in conversations the area of the current and future content and methods of sustainability values-oriented teaching. This event is open to the general audience, but especially directed to cultural professionals, cultural management adepts, alumni, and teachers. The focus of our Talks are sustainability values and their organisational and individual applications in cultural, creative, arts and heritage activities area. 

On 21 May 2021, the COSM Talks 2 was entitled Cultural Organisations and Sustainability: FESTIVALS' RESILIENCE.

The key topics of the session were:

  • the resilience of art & cultural festivals as organisational models
  • practice-based studies applied to festivals' organisations – the role of cultural managers
  • the role of aesthetics applied to well-balanced cultural producers' work
  • festivals in their cities' ecosystems, the relation of aesthetics and sustainability values


The event took place over two hours in an online Zoom session.
