Joanna Sanetra-Szeliga, PhD in economy, is an assistant professor at the Cracow University of Economics (UNESCO Chair in Heritage and Urban Studies) and a consultant in the Centre for Cultural Statistics of the Statistical Office in Kraków. She has experience working for the public administration (Department of Culture Strategy and European Affairs in the Ministry of Culture) and in the cultural sector (Research Institute for European Heritage at the International Cultural Centre in Kraków). She is a lecturer and an author and an editor of publications on the links between culture and heritage and development, intercultural dialogue, the EU cultural policy and the European Capitals of Culture. At the moment she is involved in the  ILUCIDARE and HOMEE European projects on behalf of the ICC.
