ENCATC Members Talk - Hybrid Cultural Programme Models

Greg is the Director of Cultural Planning and Development in the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) - Abu Dhabi. He leads the development and execution of the cultural strategy for Abu Dhabi with links to cultural planning and development across the United Arab Emirates. In addition to ongoing capital projects building of the Louvre Abu Dhabi (opened in 2017), a new Zayed National Museum, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi opening in the coming years, DCT is now focusing heavily on culture and creative industries strategy. Greg has worked for 40 years in the cultural sector in Canada and internationally as a policy maker, cultural manager, academic and consultant. He has a PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo in Canada, focusing on cultural planning and development.
