The ENCATC Members Talk N°6 took place online on 17 July from 14:30 - 15:30 (CEST).

The idea for this Talk was inspired from 2017 when ENCATC, in partnership with UNESCO and under the leadership of our member Cristina Ortega, has implemented the project “Learning on intangible heritage: building teachers’ capacity for a sustainable future".  This project has also offered ENCATC rich research material for the production of our special issue on the project for the /encatcSCHOLAR.

The aim of the Members Talk was to gather insight and reflection from the participants ahead of an invitation from the UNESCO Bangkok delegation who had invited ENCATC, and in particular ENCATC member Cristina Ortega, to speak at their webinar session on (Inter-)Regional Collaboration amongst Higher Education Institutions for ICH Safeguarding on 30 July. 

To prepare for this online meeting with UNESCO Bangkok, the Members Talk was a conversation moderated by Cristina Ortega, CEO of 3Walks, with members of ENCATC, AAAE and TACPS with special invited guest Helena Drobna, Programme Specialist at UNESCO.

The outcomes of the discussions from the ENCATC Members Talk were then shared with the primary audience of the online UNESCO event composed of universities with ICH related programmes from Asia and the Pacific. It was the opportunity to share
