Enhancing European and International Cooperation of European Capitals of Culture

Sylvia AMANN, lead trainer of the Academy Camp 3, is director of inforelais (Austria) - tailored services for culture and creative industries (policy) development. The former chair of the EU creative industries expert group is strongly dedicated to innovative European policies for culture. She also works for more than 25 years on EU funding for culture and related services as well as policies. Furthermore, Sylvia engages for international cultural cooperation, enhanced European cultural exchange and new intercontinental relationships with special focus on new ways of (cultural) cooperation between Africa and Europe – a focus already started as panel member of the European Capitals of Culture. Sylvia works globally for more than 20 years based on her experiences in major EU and cities initiatives and strategic policies.
