Enhancing European and International Cooperation of European Capitals of Culture

Philipp Dietachmair has been working in the field of European cultural relations for almost twenty years. He currently is Head of Programmes at the European Cultural Foundation in Amsterdam. Previously, he managed the foundation’s cultural capacity building work in the Eastern and Southern EU Neighbourhood countries. He has co-created the Tandem cross-border collaboration programmes that connected hundreds of cultural initiatives and community activists from all over Europe, including many European Capitals of Culture. Recently, he has been developing the ECF’s Culture of Solidarity Corona-response fund and EU pilot projects in the field of cultural mobility.
