The conference "Sustainable Development in Music Education" will be organised by the Association of Nordic Music Academies (ANMA) and Nordplusmusic and will take place on 27-28 April 2020 at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn, Estonia.
The topic of Sustainable Development has been in the focus of educational events for some time now, yet with insufficiency in undertaking concrete systemic actions by the institutions. Music education for sustainable development should aim at helping people to develop attitudes, skills and knowledge to make informed decisions that help them to deal with the concerns of ecology, health and mental well-being, poverty, equality, human rights, education for all, security and interculturality, and to act upon these decisions.
ENCATC members can participate free (put registration is obligatory).
- Call for Contributions is open until 16 February 2020
- The applications for attending the conference without presentation are open until 31 March 31 2020
