ENCATC is selected for official partnership with the New European Bauhaus Initiative!

On 28 May, ENCATC announced it has been selected for official partnership with the New European Bauhaus Initiative!

ENCATC is extremely honoured to be part of this important movement. This recognition will offer ENCATC the opportunity to work closely with its members, universities, research institutions, professionals, and policy makers in the field of cultural management and policy to shape all together a new cultural project for Europe.

As an official partner, ENCATC is also committed to promote inside and outside its network a new vision for universities in the future, where these institutions become more interconnected, cross-sectorial, innovative, and facilitate more cooperation with partners and society and their innovation ecosystems. ENCATC is aware of the great challenge and responsibility this partnership entails and is committed to align all its activities to the values and aims of this initiative.

The New European Bauhaus Initiative movement was launched on 18 January 2021 by the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. It is meant to explore how to live better together; make the Green Deal a positive, tangible experience for people; connect people from different professions and backgrounds and weave different perspectives and cultures; move beyond “form follows function”, factoring in the planet and social purposes; support the development of lead markets in sustainability;  and make the EU think and deliver “out of the box”.

Stay tuned as ENCATC will be revealing our plan of activities and actions!
