EU Citizens' Dialogue and the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018

ENCATC is very honored to cooperate with the European Commission and host the next Citizens' Dialogue during its 25th Congress! Focusing on the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018, this gathering will be held on 28 September in Brussels.

By attending this session during the ENCATC Congress "Click, Connect and Collaborate! New directions in sustaining cultural networks" (27-30 September 2017), learn how you could host next year one of the 2018 Citizens' Dialogues in your own city.

Hear from our speakers, Michel Magnier, Director for Culture and Creativity, DG EAC, European Commission and Viviane Hoffmann, Director, DG Communication with Citizens, European Commission. They will share how this format is allowing European Union leaders to communicate directly with citizens, explain Union policies and to promote EU initiatives.

This will also be the opportunity to convey your suggestions and proposals that can feed into actions for what the EU can do for conservation, digitisation, infrastructure, research, and skills development related to cultural heritage. Moreover, the Congress' international audience will nourish the discussions by presenting best practices in their world regions designed to involve citizens in policy making.
