Activities Trainee

I did a 6 month internship in the ENCATC office in 2005. I was then in a Master "Direction of Cultural Projects" at the Institute of Political Studies of Grenoble, which is a member of ENCATC. My field of study was public policies in museums and I wanted to have a better vision of European cultural policies.

This internship allowed me to better measure the richness of the debates and visions on Culture in Europe. I was able to better understand the unique place of France on a European scale, with a vision and a history of cultural policies very linked to the idea of cultural exception and to the role of the State in these policies.

I discovered the central role of the networks, and a daily work which allows in a concrete and essential way the dialogue between the Europeans, and in particular, for the Encatc, between those responsible for training in management of culture.

Finally, this internship enriched me with many meetings, in the framework of meetings and events in Paris and in Potsdam in particular. The professionalism of Secretary General, GiannaLia Cogliandro Beyens and her support have finally made this internship a moment of great wealth!
