This outstanding evening ceremony will take place during the 26th ENCATC Congress on Cultural Management and Policy. The 2018 winner will be announced to an international audience of researchers, academics, cultural professionals, policy makers, and media.
The ENCATC Research Award aims to foster academic and applied cultural policy and cultural management research. This Award has also the ambition to contribute to new competence building among researchers in comparative cultural policy research. It also encourages and enables young cultural policy researchers to take a step from evaluative (descriptive) to comparative applied research that can inform policymaking and benefit practitioners active in the field. The Award is devoted to PhD theses which sheds light on contemporary cultural issues and challenges by analysing them and offering policy solutions. The Award is open to European and non-European researchers.
The Award is an initiative of ENCATC done in partnership with The National Institute for Cultural Research and Training (NIRCT).
